Need to check my work on a hard problem
If the volume is 240in^3, the length is 3in and the height is 10in, find the width
If the volume is 240in^3, the length is 3in and the height is 10in, find the width
If this is the volume of a cube, then the Volume V=240in3 = Length x Width x Height = LWH
so...
240in3 = (3 in) x (W) x (10in) = 30 in 2 x W in = 240 in 3
solve for W
W = 240/30 = 8 in....so width is 8 in.......check we have 3in x 8in x 10in = 240in3
