the answer should be 1/9. your combinations are (1 and 4), (2 and 3), (3 and 2), or (4 and 1). the probability of rolling a number on each cube is 1/6, so the probability of rolling a number on two cubes at the same time would be 1/6 x 1/6, which is 1/36. So the probability of rolling each combination listed at the top is 1/36. There are 4 combinations total, so add them up: 1/36 + 1/36 + 1/36 + 1/36 = 4/36. Simplify: 4/36 = 1/9.
