where b is a positive number. It has the form
f(t) = g(t)h(t)
where
g(t) = A e-bt
h(t) = sin(ωt + φ)
A composite function is a function of a function, such as
(f o g)(x) = f(g(x))
But this is not the case for a damped sine wave.
