b) Draw a graph that represents what you have written down for question a.

c) Is this a linear function?

d) If a parent donated several boxes of paper cones so you no longer needed to buy any, how many blocks of ice could you buy?

Answer 1

x = number of ice blocks

y = number of boxes of paper cones

3x = cost of ice blocks

4y = cost of boxes of paper cones

3x + 4y = 100

This is a linear function

If y is 0, the x = 33 blocks of ice.
