If your equation is written correctly, remember your order of operations: multiplication, division, addition, subtraction
f(x)=-2*+2+4 you would multiply -2 by +2 first, then add +4
f(x)=-4+4
f(x)=0
If it was meant to be written like this:
f(x)=-2*(2+4), then you would add the numbers in the parenthesis first, then multiply by -2
f(x)=-2*6
f(x)=-12
