P = 128 inches, l = x + 22, and w = 3x - 9
2(x + 22) + 2(3x - 9) = 128
2x + 44 + 6x - 18 = 128
8x + 26 = 128
8x = 94
x = 11.75
The length is 11.75 + 22 = 33.75 inches. The width is 3(11.75) - 9 = 26.25 inches.
