Hi Ighodalo! A function is defined as a relation from a set of inputs to a set of possible outputs where each input is related to exactly one output. This means that for every x value, there should be exactly 1 y value. When plotted in a graph, xy-2y = 1 you can clearly see that for every x value, there is only 1 y-value. Hope that helps!
