Aneila, you should learn the formula an=a1+(n-1)d
a1=first term, n=the term you want which is the 12th in this problem, d=common difference which is 10
12, 22, 32, 42,...
a12=12+(12-1)10
a12=12+11*10
a12=12+110
a12=122
