I'm not sure how, but apparently there was some technical difficulty in your question being posted, but it can be easily deciphered since it is a known fact that there are 2.7 gram per liter of aluminum. The questions should be stated as follows:
A chemist had 54 grams of aluminum. There are 2.70 grams per milliliter for aluminum. How many milliliters of aluminum does the chemist have?
The answer is as follows:
- (54 g)/(2.70 g/ml) = 20 ml ... the "g"'s cancel each other out, and the "ml" comes into the numerator

1 gram = 1 milliter, so 54 grams = 54 milliliters.
