Find g(1) if g(x) = x²+4+2x, then g(1) = (1)²+ 4 + 2(1) = 1 + 4 + 2 = 7

Find h(1) if h(x) = -3x + 2 then h(1) = -3(1) + 2 = -3 + 2 = -1

Now g(1) + h(1) = 7 + (-1) = 6
