To turn this into a mixed number, you divide the top (bigger) number by the bottom number.
Let's say your fraction is 9/5. 9 divided by 5 is 1 with a remainder of 4.
Now you make a new fraction. The remained is the new top number and the bottom number stays the same.
In this case, the new fraction would be 4/5. Don't forget the 1 whole number from the division. So now you have 1 4/5 as your final answer.
