Polynomial practice help!!!!

The average retail price of gas in America from 1979 to 2008 can be modeled by the function

P (x) = 0.008x3 - 0.307x2 + 4.38x + 25.72

Where P is the price of gas in cents per litre and x is the number of years after 1979

Determine the average price of gas in 2002.

a.) 69.8¢/L

b.) 71.7¢/L

c.) 70.4¢/L

d.) 68.8¢/L

Is that first term correct? It is strange to have 2 terms with x^3.
