Hi Jin. If the turning point of this graph is above the x-axis, but moves from Quadrant III to Quadrant IV, then “a” is less than zero. The shape of this parabola is like an upside down U.
Also, the graph has to cross the y-axis, if it moves above the x-axis, going from Quadrant III to Quadrant IV. That means “c”, the y-intercept, must be greater than 0.
