If I understand your question correctly, you want the probability of NOT getting 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6. Compute the probability of GETTING 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6, and subtract that from 1. Since there are 5 in 6 chances of getting 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6, the probability is 5/6. So the chance of NOT getting 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 is
1 - 5/6 = 1/6
That is the same as the probability of getting 1, which is 1 in 6 chances, i.e. 1/6.
