n - m = 5
Add the 2 equations and get
2n = 14
n = 7
m = n - 5 = 7 - 5 = 2

Thanks for your question. First, you would find numbers that add up to 9. That could be 1+8, 2+7, 3+6, or 4+5. Then, you would find the differences and see which one equals 5. So 8-1=7, 7-2=5, 6-3=3, and 5-4=1. So the 2 numbers you are looking for are 7 and 2!
