Hi Cristina. You will need to set up an equation in algebraic form first. 2x is the product of twice a number. Then, you should subtract 7 from it because it is seven less than. The left hand side of your equation should be 2x - 7. That is 5 more than the same number. Therefore, you should add 5 to x.
