Teachers want to know which night each week their students are doing most of their homework. Most teachers think that students do homework equally throughout the week. Suppose random sample of 56 students were asked on which night of the week they did the most homework.

From the population students, do the nights for the highest number of students doing the majority of their homework occur with equal frequencies (uniform distribution) during a week?

I will get you started. If the 56 students picked each day with equal frequency, how many would pick each day? Since there are 7 days, you get 56/7 = 8 students for each day. Use Chi Square to compare the difference in your observed results (11, 8, 10, 7, 10, 5, 5) with the expected results (8, 8, 8 8, 8, 8, 8). You may submit your work on this for further help.
