You can find the constant ratio of a linear function by finding the slope of a line.
The slope formula is y subscript 2 - y subscript 1 divided my X subscript 2 and x subscript 1.
For example, here are two ordered pairs of a given line: (1, 1) and (3, 3).
(x1, y1) and (x2, y2)
3-1/3 -1 = 1. So, the constant ratio is 1 which equal the slope of this line.
y = 1x.
