The population in City A was approximately 243,000 people, and it increased by 8% in one year. What is the new population?

I had other people try this question and they got the same answer as me we got 262440 but it says it's wrong.

Your answer is correct. You posted a similar problem where you got the correct answer, but was told it was wrong. Who/what is telling you the answers are wrong?

You did the math too and got the same answer. This answer is correct. Perhaps there is a quirk in how the answer must be uploaded to the website.
