A = LW = 255
(W + 2)W = 255
W2 + 2W - 255 = 0
(W - 15)(W + 17) = 0
W = 15 yd
L = W + 2 = 15 + 2 = 17 yd

asked • 05/07/20A rectangular parking lot has a length that is 2 yards greater than the width. The area of the parking lot is 255 square yards. Find the length and the width.
Please help me i don't understand how to do this and this will be in my final exam
