she spent in dollars at one store. Then she spent 22 dollars at another store. Find the expression which represents the amount Rita spent at the mall. Then estimate how much Rita spent if she bought 22 items.

12.57c + 23 is the first store

22 is the second store

combine the stores, add like terms (22 and 23 are both constants) and then plug in your known value for the variable (c=22)
