The volume formula for a hemisphere is:
V = 2 π r3
3
In this formula, r = radius, which is always half the diameter. Since you're given a diameter of 7.7, you can divide that by 2. Then plug into the Volume formula.
r = 7.7 ÷ 2 = 3.9
V = 2 π (3.9)3 = 2 π (59.3) = 372.4 = 124.1 ft3
