explanation:
t3= t1+(3-1)d = 7 +2d
t8= t1 +(8-1)d= 7 +7d (1)
also, t8= 6* t3= (7+2d)*6 (2)
we make (1) = (2)
7+7d = 6*(7+2d)
7+7d= 42 +12d
7- 42 = 12d-7d
-35 = 5d
------> d- -35/5 = -7
