If you're looking for a linear equation, that means the graph is a line.
So what would the graph look like? You're plotting the thickness of the ice over time. So your x-axis is time and your y-axis is the thickness of the ice.
The slope of the line is how fast the thickness of ice is decreasing, or how fast it's melting.
So what kind of information does the problem give you? It gives you the slope of the line, and a point on that line. From there you can figure out the equation of the line as you would normally.
