Hydrochloric acid is HCl and it is a strong acid meaning it dissociates 100%.
So 1 mole HCl produces 1 mole H+ and 1 mole Cl- (HCl <==> H+ + Cl-)
pH is defined as the negative log of [H+], so all we have to do is find [H+], take the -log and that's the pH.
[H+] = 0.75 M
-log 0.75 = 0.12
pH = 0.12
