To find where the function is continuous, find the value where these equations are equal.
3-x2=x Add x2 and subtract 3 from both sides of the equation.
0=x2+x-3
This can't be factored. So would need to use the quadratic equation to solve.
x = (-1 ±√12-4(1)(-3))/2 Simplify
x = (-1±√13)/2
