Math and computer tutor/teacher
h = -16t^2 + 25t, so the initial velocity is 25...
= t( -16t + 25)
a=-16 b=25
max occurs at -b/(2a) = -25/(2*-16) = 25/32
max height is (25/32) ( -16 * 25/32 + 25)
(25/32) ( -25/2 + 25)
(25/32)( -25/2 + 50/2)
(2/32)(25/2)
50/64
25/32
balls hits the ground when t(-16t + 25) = 0
t = 0 or -16t + 25 = 0
-16t = -25
t = 25/16
t= 1 and 9/16 sec = 1.5625 sec or t=0 secs
