To find a perfect square trinomial you need to find the value of c that makes it a perfect trinomial.
In a trinomial the first number is a, which in this equation is 1. The second is b and in this equation it is 8. And the third number in this equation is c which is the number you're looking for.
To do that that you need to take b which is -8, divide -8 by 2 and square it. -8/2 ^2 = 64/4. That reduced = 16.
So your equation is x^2 -8x +16
