The no.of peninsula is "19 - x". { Since, went skydiving in total 19 islands and peninsula }

2x + 3 (19 - x) = 45 {Since, in each Island he skydives twice and in each peninsula thrice}

2x + 57 - 3x = 45 { And total of 45 times skydiving is done }

x = 12

19-12 => 7

Hence, 12 islands and 7 peninsula.
