Because the 11 in f(11) is the in the same place as the x in f(x), you would replace every x with 11! So, plug in 11 to this equation every time that you see an x... f(11)=2(11)/11-1... Solve the equations in both the numerator and then the denominator separately, next! f(11)=22/10... Some teachers would like for you to leave it as the improper fraction and some would like for you to simplify! If you were to simplify, simply divide 22 by 10! You will get 2.2 or 2 and 2/10!
