Using the laws of exponents that equation is the same as V = (A**1/2)**3
A**1/2 is really just the square root of A.
We are given that a face has an area of 49 cm**2
Substituting 49 for A in the above equation:
V = (49**1/2)**3 = 7**3 = 7*7*7 = 343 cm^3
