Try to think about this visually. If you plot these points on a graph and the line x=4, you'll get the graph linked below.

If you want to reflect over the line, imagine standing a mirror on the line. Since x=4 is a vertical line, only the x coordinate will change. Each point should be the same distance from the line in the opposite direction. So, points on the line should stay where they are, and points a distance d to the right should end up a distance d to the left.
