College Algebra math Hypotenuse of a right triangle

The hypotenuse of right triangle is 100 centimeters long. The difference between the other two sides is 68 centimeters. Find the missing sides. Use exact values.

Use Pythagorean theorem:

(x2) + (x - 68)2 = 1002


Your answers would be x and (x - 68)
