Hi Justin. Taking the square root of a variable is equivalent to raising it to the power of (1/2). Higher level roots have concomitantly lesser fractions:√(x) = x1/2. 4√(x)=x1/4
Hence, in this specific case: (4√(/2x))3 = ((2x)1/4)3 = (2x)(3*1/4) = (2x)3/4
