Do you mean in terms of a? It's already in terms of a, since a is one of the values in the expression for y,
Or do you mean, write an expression for a?
If you mean that then you would do the following:
y = xe(a/vw)
Divide both sides by x:
y/x = e(a/vw)
Take the natural logarithm of both sides:
ln (y/x) = ln e(a/vw)
ln y - ln x = a/vw
Multiply both sides by vw:
vw (ln y - ln x) = a
You can also write this as:
ln ((y/x)vw) = a
