So Alice share = 2x-1000

and Bob share = x+2000

so

x+2x-1000+x+2000= 25000

4x+1000=25000

4x = 24000

x= 6000

so

Mary's share = x = 6000

So Alice share = 2x-1000=2(6000)-1000=12000-1000=11000

and Bob share = x+2000=6000+2000=8000
