The sum of two numbers is 20 and the difference is 12. What are the two numbers?

1 19 20 18 which is not correct

2 18 20 16 which is not correct

3 17 20 14 which is not correct

4 16 20 12 which is correct

5 15 20 10 which is not correct

There are no other answers because as you can see the difference is getting lower
