"steep" presumably refers to slope--which is the ratio of y change to x change (using the standard x-y cartesian system.
Your equations are in the form y = mx + b, where m is the slope, and b is the y-intercept. (in the last equation, m = 0)
So---the steepest slope is the one with the largest value of m

Note that slope of +1 (upward) is as "steep" as a slope of -1(downward), so |m| may be a good way to evaluate "steepest."02/07/20
