Well to find the equivalent line you need to solve for y to get the equation in slope-intercept form(y=mx+b)
y - 3 = -1 (x+5) so first we need to expand 1(x+5) and we get
y - 3 = (-x) - (-5) and a negative minus anything equals positive plus something so we actually have
y - 3 = x + 5 then we need to subtract 3 from the left side to get y by itself so you get this:
y = (-x) + 2 or y = (-1x) + 2 however you want to place the x you will be right
