You can use either a proportion or unit rate

Proportion:

10 feet = x feet

8 mins 24 mins

By cross multiplying we get (10 * 24 = 8x)

Then 240 = 8x

So 30 = x meaning that the ant will travel 30 feet in 24 min

Unit rate:

10 feet = 1.25 feet

8 mins 1 min

Then we multiply 1.25 feet by 24 mins getting us 30 feet.

Either way will work. And then you will just need to repeat the same thing for the 32 mins.
