here's another solution...
f(x)=x^2-6x+9
the right side is a perfect square
f(x)=(x-3)^2
shift 5 units to the right means -5 (shift 5 units to the left means +5, just the opposite of what you would think)
g(x)=(x-3-5)^2
g(x)=(x-8)^2
if you do the squarings the answers to my equation and Denise's equation will be the same
