y = mx + b
You have the points (6,0) and (0,-2), Get the slope m.
m = (-2 - 0) / (0 - 6) = 1/3
b = -2
y = (1/3)x - 2
Multiply both sides by 3 to get standard form.
3y = x - 6
x - 3y = 6
