a^2+b^2=c^2
15^2+13^2=394^.5=19.849.....

First, find the distance between the x coordinates. 12 - (-3) = 15
Now we'll do the y coordinates the same way. 5 - (-8) = 13
To get three tenths, multiply each distance by 0.3
x = 0.3(15) = 4.5
y = 0.3(13) = 3.9
New coordinates: (4.5, 3.9)
