We can use the slope-intercept form of a line, y = mx + b
The y- intercept, b, will be 8 because (0,8) is on the line.
We can use the two given points to find the slope:
m = (y2-y1)/(x2 -x1)
m = (-4 - 8)/ (-8 - 0) = -12/-8 OR 3/2
Therefore, the slope,m, is 3/2.
The equation of the line will be y = 3/2x + 8
