Trisha has $350 in her bank account and is earning $25 a day. Rhea has $200 in her bank account and earns $35 a day. After how many days will Rhea have as much or more than Trisha?

Let d be days needed for Rhea's account to have more than Trisha's.

350 + 25d < 200 + 35d (Trisha's account is on the left and Rhea's is on the right)

150 < 10d (simply by putting variables on one side and constants on the other)

15 < d (solving for d)

It will take 15 days for Rhea's account to pass Trisha's
