I doubt it but its super hard to tell. Obviously the couch will not fit a 31 inch wide doorway if you try to keep it upright because it is 36 inches deep. If you rotate it up on it's side (front of couch is down so that the bottom of couch and the top of the back are what's squeezing through the doorway) then the 28 inch tall dimension has the possibility of going through the doorway but geometrically, you get this:
But the couch is not a rectangular solid meaning that it has a cross sectional shape that is not a rectangle.Probably the ends are rectangles but in between it probably looks like this:
meaning you can jockey it around, rotating it as you translate it.
So, bottom line, give it a try.
