"What happens to the terms of a sequence when the multiplier is greater than 1?"
They get larger!!
Seriously, is this the complete question? I assume you are talking about a geometric sequence, in which each term is the preceding term times a common multiplier. If the multiplier is greater than 1, then each term is larger that the preceding one.
Example:
2, 6, 18, 54, 162
The common multiplier is 3
10, 9, 8.1, 7.29, 6.561
the common multiplier is 0.9
