(x,4x-1) plug in any value for x
or since y=4x-1 then 4x=y+1 and x=y/4 +1/4
so the ordered pair in terms of y is
(y/4 + 1/4, y) plug in any value for y

Plug in different values of x and solve. e.g. if x = 1, f(x) = 3
As an "ordered pair" this is (1, 3)

If x= -2, f( -2 ) = 4(-2) -1 = -8 -1 = -9 ; (-2, -9 )
If x = -1, f( -1 ) = 4(-1) - 1 = -4 -1 = -5 ; (-1 , -5 )
If x = 0, f( 0 ) = 4(0) - 1 = 0 - 1 = -1 ; (0 , -1 )
If x = 1, f( 1 ) = 4(1) - 1 = 4 - 1 = 3 ; ( 1, 3 )
If x = 2 , f( 2 ) = 4(2) - 1 = 8 - 1 = 7 ; ( 2, 7 )
