You can graph the equations by assuming values for x, between 0 to 15,000

 

The coordinates of intersection can be found graphically also at point of intersection the y values or the dollar amounts are same

 

so 8x = 4x + 48000

4x = 48000

x = 12,000

and y = 8x = 96,000

 

the number values for x and y are (12,000 and 96,000)

 

This represents the number of games where the income is same as cost to produce them
