The parent function f(x) = x2 is reflected across the x-axis, vertically stretched by a factor of 3 and translated left 4 and up 2 to create g(x)

I am in Algebra 1 and I am not doing good. Can someone explain to me how to do this the easiest way? Maybe put it in standard then vertex? Thank you :) ! ****The x2 is x squared.

reflected across x-axis means the ENTIRE function gets Negated, so now it's

y = -x^2

vertically stretched by factor of 3, so now it's y = -3x^2

left 4 means ADDS 4 to x, so now it's y = -3(x+4)^2

Finally , up 2 means just adding 2 to the function, so

y = -3(x+4)^2 + 2
